Haley Isabel Moore, lead placement specialist at Staffanation, found herself by chance in the recruiting world in July 2020, after her grant as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Colombia was ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic. She applied for a position on Staffanation’s website and was contacted about an internal opportunity as a bilingual customer service representative. She eventually worked her way to placement specialist and, later, to lead placement specialist. In this role, Haley’s goal is not only to connect candidates to the right positions for them, but also to foster growth within the placement specialist team.
Haley graduated with a B.S. in psychology, a B.A. in Spanish, and a minor in linguistics from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. She has lived in Spain and in Colombia and has been known to throw in some slang from both countries from time to time as she works with Spanish-speaking candidates to place them in the best possible opportunity for them. Thanks to her ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking candidates, Staffanation is officially a Spanish-speaking agency in Cincinnati!
Outside of the office, Haley spends her time teaching herself French and working on a language-themed podcast with her polyglot best friend. She also has a soft spot for cooking and baking, and often finds herself lost in the Japanese section of Jungle Jim’s.
